Peikko Lithuania’s contribution to the Bucha School Forest Classroom – meaningful and important solutions for children’s safety.

The Bucha School Forest Classroom recently opened in Bucha, Ukraine – a modern educational space designed to develop children’s creativity and a close relationship with the environment. It is also a great example of sustainable construction, implemented using innovative Lithuanian solutions and in close cooperation with the local community. The Bucha School Forest Classroom project, awarded under the New European Bauhaus initiative, was implemented thanks to more than 40 Lithuanian companies, 320 individual sponsors and over 160 volunteers from Lithuania and Bucha.

Peikko Lithuania provided support in manufacturing bicycle racks and stair railings – simple, yet important solutions for everyday safety and freedom of movement. In this project Peikko Lithuania worked together with Bucha School and 2L Architects & Engineers.  The mayor of Bucha highly appreciated Peikko Lithuania’s contribution to the project.

The Forest Classroom is just the first step – a whole modern, sustainable school is currently being built, which will provide even more opportunities for children and the entire Bucha community in the future. May this place inspire children to believe in themselves and their future for many years to come!
